Colleen McSweeney Moore formed McSweeney Moore Law Offices in 2011 after retiring as a Circuit Court Judge in Cook County. She was a Circuit Court Judge in Cook County from 1994-2011. Judge McSweeney Moore was a Supervising Judge in the Criminal Division hearing all felony cases from simple drug possession to capital murder. She completed her career in the Bridgeview Courthouse, presiding over felony cases as well as DUI and traffic offenses. She presided over thousands of criminal cases as a Judge. Prior to becoming a Judge, Colleen McSweeney Moore was a prosecutor with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. She was the first woman Supervisor of the 6th Municipal District in the Markham Courthouse, and the first woman Supervisor of the Traffic Division. She tried hundreds of cases as a prosecutor.

Colleen McSweeney Moore has spent over 30 years in the criminal justice field. Her expertise in the field is recognized not only by her time on the bench and as a former prosecutor, but also as a lecturer and trainer of fellow judges, attorneys and law students.
